Independent issuing of search warrants: Damache v DPP

The article focuses on the Irish Supreme Court's decision in Damache v. DPP. In this case, a law that allows senior members of the police force to issue search warrants in certain circumstances was challenged to be unconstitutional. In this case, Chief Justice Denham C.J. concluded that under some circumstances, search warrant is unconstitutional.
